Your Tresselle volumiser is crafted from carefully selected 100% human hair and designed to blend seamlessly with your own. With gentle handling and simple maintenance, your piece will remain soft, natural and beautiful.

Fitting Your Volumiser

• Position the volumiser over the area where you would like additional density at the crown.

• Secure the front comb or clip of your volumiser first, followed by the side and back clips.

• Ensure the base sits flat and comfortably against the scalp.

• Blend your own hair over the volumiser to create a seamless finish.

• Adjust the position slightly until the volumiser feels secure and comfortable.

Removing Your Volumiser

• Unclip the side and back clips first

• Release the front comb last

• Lift the volumiser away gently to avoid pulling your own hair

Brushing

• Brush your volumiser before and after each wear

• Start from the ends and work upwards

• Use a wide-tooth comb or soft bristle brush

• Be gentle when brushing near the base

Washing

• Wash approximately every 4–8 weeks, depending on wear

• Use a sulphate-free, colour-safe shampoo

• Wash gently in lukewarm water

• Avoid rubbing or twisting the base

Conditioning

• Apply conditioner from mid-lengths to ends only

• Comb through gently using a wide-tooth comb

• Avoid applying conditioner to the base

Drying

• Lay the volumiser on a towel and gently blot excess water

• Allow the hair to air-dry naturally

• For best shape, dry on a mannequin head

Styling

Because your volumiser is made with real human hair, it can be styled just like your own.

• Always apply a heat protectant before using heated tools

• Use low to medium heat where possible

• Straighten or curl as desired

• Avoid excessive heat on the ends

Storage

• Store your volumiser in the Tresselle satin bag

• Alternatively place it on a mannequin head between wears

Important Care Tips

• Do not sleep or swim while wearing your volumiser

• Avoid oils or styling products on the base

• Never apply heat directly to the base or knots

• Brush gently around the knotted areas

Natural Shedding

Because your Tresselle volumiser is hand-tied, shedding is typically minimal when the piece is handled and cared for correctly.

A small amount of shedding over time is normal for all hand-tied human hair pieces and does not affect the performance of your volumiser.

Alterations & Liability

Your Tresselle piece is hand-finished and supplied ready to wear, fitted with clips and/or a comb chosen to suit the base.

Please do not:

  • Apply glue, tape, bonding adhesive, or any other fixing product to the base
  • Cut, trim, thin, or reshape the base or the knots
  • Colour, bleach, perm or chemically treat the hair
  • Wash or condition the base with anything other than a sulphate-free, colour-safe shampoo
  • Use heated tools directly on the base or knots

These steps cannot be undone and may damage the piece.

Replacing clips and combs

If a clip or comb ever needs replacing, please take care over how it is done. Clips must be sewn onto the correct points of the base. Removing or refitting them improperly risks tearing the base, loosening knots, or leaving holes that cannot be repaired.

Where clips or combs have been replaced, altered, or refitted by anyone other than Tresselle, we cannot accept responsibility for any resulting damage to the base or the piece.

Liability

If a piece has been altered, adhered, chemically treated, or cared for in a way that does not follow this guide, we are not able to accept responsibility for shedding, base damage, colour change, knot loss or any other failure that results. This does not affect your legal rights if a piece arrives faulty or not as described.
